The Empowering
Adults Working With Students to Take Action in Matters Involving Bullying and
Violence, Including Sexual Violence training program is intended for all
school staff members and any other adult who works with students in educational
institutions.
This
training course was created by Jacinthe Dion, Ph.D., from the Université du
Québec à Trois-Rivières, with the contribution of the Ministère de l’Éducation.
Help and
resources
The Help
tab will give you more information on the navigation tools. You can also
activate subtitles and track your progress through the training unit from the
table of contents. Note that your progress will be lost if you close your
browser after starting a training unit. You will then need to start the unit
from the beginning at your next visit.
The
Resources tab allows you to download a training workbook that summarizes the
key elements of each unit. This workbook includes boxes for personal notes.
A
downloadable certificate of participation is available at the end of each
training unit.
Please note
that participation in this training course is anonymous and no data is saved
(e.g. answers to questions in the training units, the information appearing on
the certificates of participation).
Evaluation
of the training course
A team of
independent university researchers of the Ministère de l’Éducation is leading a
research project in order to evaluate this training course. The data collected
will be used to assess the participants’ opinions and measure the impact of the
training.
To
participate in the evaluation, please complete the online questionnaire, which
takes approximately 10 minutes. The questionnaire must be completed twice:
once before participating in the training units and once after.
To optimize
your learning experience, we recommend that you participate in the training
units according to the planned sequence, especially as the evolving scenarios
help you to consolidate the knowledge you’ve acquired from one unit to the
next.
Additional training units are currently being prepared. These will delve deeper into certain themes and address the realities experienced by populations at greater risk of violence.
